Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Celestino Mincho kicked off to start the match. Gara Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Mincho in the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Celestino Mincho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnoldswick's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Mincho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Anil Chai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Darryl Kool. Barnoldswick's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anil Chai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Gara Seng came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Barnoldswick's Celestino Mincho. But to his dismay, Celestino Mincho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Nicholas Liang fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Great Leighs's protests and gave Nicholas Liang a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barnoldswick booed when Great Leighs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicholas Liang didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Great Leighs got a freekick which was hit by Danial Phua. Celestino Mincho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gara Seng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Barnoldswick's Celestino Mincho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gara Seng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Great Leighs's Gara Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Mincho in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anil Chai in the 40th minute of play forced Barnoldswick's goalkeeper Darryl Kool to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match, Danial Phua got a very nice opportunity to score, but Darryl Kool was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gara Seng came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Barnoldswick's Celestino Mincho. But to his dismay, Celestino Mincho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Jorge Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gara Seng having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Celestino Mincho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gara Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gara Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Mincho, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The attack was good, but when Anil Chai in the 57th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Celestino Mincho struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Gara Seng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barnoldswick. Celestino Mincho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anil Chai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Darryl Kool tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Great Leighs's Danial Phua got a free kick in the 68th minute. Gara Seng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celestino Mincho's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Celestino Mincho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gara Seng having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Joel Hee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celestino Mincho might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gara Seng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celestino Mincho ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Valentine struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Gara Seng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barnoldswick. When Danial Phua came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Great Leighs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danial Phua couldn't finish the play. When Barnoldswick's Celestino Mincho in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Great Leighs's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute Celestino Mincho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gara Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
