Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jonathan Chian made the kick off which started today's match. After 6 played minutes Great Leighs got a freekick which was hit by Amir Tan. Danial Phua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohammad Shyan's late challenge caught a Great Leighs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohammad Shyan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Williton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohammad Shyan to maneuver through the defense. When Amir Tan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 12 minutes had been played. After 13 played minutes Great Leighs got a freekick which was hit by Amir Tan. In the 14th minute, Williton's Danial Hong dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 17th minute, Williton's Jonathan Chian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Danial Phua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicholas Liang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haziq Hsin having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Williton's goal looked a bit too open when Danial Phua came free, but Haziq Hsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anil Chai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Boon missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 44 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Haziq Hsin right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danial Phua to make the kick off. When Khairul Chien-Kwan came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Williton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khairul Chien-Kwan couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Great Leighs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Gara Seng had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Dale Lee's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gara Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Chian in the 70th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Danial Hong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gara Seng was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 81 played minutes Great Leighs got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Butcher. Great Leighs's Gara Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danial Hong in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Sajeev Politiek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Faizal Seah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Williton players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
