Amir Hock hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Celestino Mincho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Temasek's Zak Ramachandran. Zak Ramachandran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Asiz Peng charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asiz Peng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute of the match Joel Hee shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zak Ramachandran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Celestino Mincho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zak Ramachandran having to interfere. When Celestino Mincho came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Barnoldswick fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Mincho couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Mincho in the 28th minute of play forced Temasek's goalkeeper Zak Ramachandran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Barnoldswick fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Barnoldswick's Celestino Mincho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 37 minutes, Zak Ee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Temasek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zak Ee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celestino Mincho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Zak Ramachandran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryan Choy charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryan Choy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celestino Mincho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zak Ee to strike the kick off in the second half. Zak Ramachandran was a little too slow when Celestino Mincho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. After some careless play in the Temasek defense, Joel Hee kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zak Ramachandran. The Temasek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zak Ramachandran should have stopped the shot. Zak Ramachandran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Hee in the 66th minute. Barnoldswick:s Darryl Kool showed great skill when he stopped Zak Ee:s penalty. 1-4 came in the 71st minute when Zak Ee all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Darryl Kool. Jorge Valentine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zak Ramachandran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Celestino Mincho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnoldswick's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Mincho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Temasek getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ryan Choy hit a great ball. Zak Ramachandran acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joel Hee. Zak Ee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darryl Kool read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Temasek booed when Barnoldswick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Hee didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Temasek fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barnoldswick were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
