The supporters of Slice of Life booed when Northwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarb Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. If SK Gopala Pillai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Asiz Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asiz Hong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Victor Wah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yakiv Vaseruk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Seng in the 16th minute of the match. If Asiz Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Wah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asiz Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Muhammad Shyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Slice of Life's Asiz Hong ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victor Wah. Victor Wah yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hafriz Namasivayam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Asiz Hong came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Slice of Life fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asiz Hong couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Asiz Hong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slice of Life's supporters rose to their feet, but Asiz Hong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Wah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Arif Hoe made the kick off in the second half. Muhammad Shyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Firdauz Chee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slice of Life's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firdauz Chee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Asiz Hong struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Victor Wah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slice of Life. In the 70th minute Muhammad Shyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Wah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mujahid Lim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Northwood's Ronn Shyan got a free kick in the 74th minute. Muhammad Shyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Firdauz Chee struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Victor Wah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slice of Life. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Hong in the 85th minute of play forced Northwood's goalkeeper Victor Wah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slice of Life's Muhammad Shyan got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Asiz Hong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Wah having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Firdauz Chee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Wah was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. There was no doubt that Slice of Life were the better team. Slice of Life's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
