Muhammad Soon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniz Pillai in the 31st minute of the match. Muhammad Soon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mujahid Yeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Alex Lum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Soon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rifqi Chien-Kwan made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Danish Tian. During the 46th minute of the match Alex Lum completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alex Lum a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, fromis FC's Alex Lum got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half fromis FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 80th minute, Daniz Pillai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zack Abdul hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. fromis FC's Sean Soon got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haziq Kool fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammad Soon having to interfere. Haziq Kool recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haziq Kool struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Muhammad Soon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for fromis FC. 93 minutes into the match, fromis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shahiran Hsin came free, but Gage Lum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Wallsend 777 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danish Tian to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over fromis FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wallsend 777 throughout the match.
