Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lewes's Darren Lum started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. fromis FC's Gage Lum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save fromis FC from getting a goal against them. In the 5th minute, Darren Lum fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, fromis FC's Gage Lum got control of the ball when Mohammad Rajah tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th match minute, fromis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mujahid Yeo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lewes booed when fromis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sharizan Low didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darren Lum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the game, one of fromis FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 19th minute Mohammad Rajah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gage Lum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Ong Braddell in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by fromis FC's Daniz Pillai. Daniz Pillai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gage Seah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, fromis FC's goalkeeper Gage Lum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tan Shiong. Gage Lum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammad Rajah, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the fromis FC defense, Tan Shiong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gage Lum. The fromis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gage Lum should have stopped the shot. Gage Lum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Rajah in the 35th minute of play. Firdauz Tee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gage Seah having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, Lewes's Mohammad Rajah made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gage Lum was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the match, fromis FC's goalkeeper Gage Lum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prime Choy. Gage Lum was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Darren Lum showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 46 minute of play.
When Tan Shiong came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lewes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tan Shiong couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the fromis FC defense, Prime Choy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gage Lum. The fromis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gage Lum should have stopped the shot. Daniz Pillai charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniz Pillai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, fromis FC's Daniz Pillai got a free kick in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lewes's zone, Daniz Pillai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gage Seah came out of the goal and Daniz Pillai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the fromis FC defense, Darren Lum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gage Lum. The fromis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gage Lum should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohammad Rajah in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gage Lum saved fromis FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, fromis FC's Mujahid Yeo got a free kick in the 80th minute. Gage Lum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Lum in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Azam Shiong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gage Lum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Rajah in the 88th minute of play. Gage Lum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prime Choy in the 89th minute of play. Alex Lum struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Gage Seah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for fromis FC. Felix Yang hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Lewes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of fromis FC for a fine match.
