Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Great Leighs's Anil Chai started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Wong Chee could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Gara Seng however easily saved by the left post. In the 4th minute of the match Spitalfields and Shoreditch got a corner. Great Leighs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wong Chee ran over to the corner to take the kick. Faiz Yi-Sheng was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anil Chai in the 6th minute of play forced Spitalfields and Shoreditch's goalkeeper Bineesh Hui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haziq Tioe hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. A collision led to Great Leighs getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Danial Phua hit a great ball. Gara Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prime Ning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anil Chai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bineesh Hui having to interfere. Danial Phua struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Bineesh Hui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Great Leighs. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prime Ning made a kick off. Great Leighs's Amir Tan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wong Hock, made in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Sajeev Politiek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wong Chee took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gara Seng. Great Leighs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faiz Yi-Sheng during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Faiz Yi-Sheng kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Anil Chai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bineesh Hui. Anil Chai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Ryan Butcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bineesh Hui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Prime Ning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gara Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gara Seng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sajeev Braddell in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Great Leighs left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Spitalfields and Shoreditch.
