Spectators: 8572 (Terracing: 6431, Seating: 1971, VIP seats: 170) Alan Gorria started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lamar Boon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Gorria, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. If Alan Gorria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 played minutes Brighton got a freekick which was hit by Amir Chandran. Lamar Boon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Gorria went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Alan Gorria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Bryan Butcher in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brighton's SK Ramachandran. Alan Gorria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamar Boon having to interfere. Lamar Boon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Gorria in the 24th minute. Garry Vercauteren came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Halesworth United's Merlin Shiong. But to his dismay, Merlin Shiong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan Gorria in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lamar Boon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Alan Gorria kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lamar Boon. That made the score 2-1 in the 31 minute of play. Alan Gorria didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-1 via right post in the game's 35th minute. Brighton's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Bryan Butcher with Alam Soon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when SK Ramachandran got free with Lamar Boon in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Brighton's Šemsudin Yener dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When Alan Gorria came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Brighton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Gorria couldn't finish the play. Alan Gorria scored 5-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lamar Boon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfred Hitchcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lamar Boon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alan Gorria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamar Boon having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Alan Gorria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brighton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Brighton's SK Ramachandran quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alam Soon, made in the 68th minute of the game. 69 minutes into the game, Alan Gorria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Lamar Boon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alan Gorria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lamar Boon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alan Gorria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryan Butcher got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Tee. 82 minutes into the match, Alan Gorria notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Halesworth United's Lamar Boon. Lamar Boon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Tee during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Brighton booed when Halesworth United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Tee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alan Gorria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lamar Boon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Brighton fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Brighton's Alan Gorria looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee ended the match the Brighton players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
