In the 9th match minute, Runcorn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammad Namasivayam to maneuver through the defense. Faiz Shiong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shafiq Hsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lamar Butcher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faiz Shiong having to interfere. Faiz Shiong was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Noh Ning showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Eltham's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Sim came free, but Jonathan Tian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noh Ning got free with Faiz Shiong in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Eltham's Shafiq Hsi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noh Ning got free with Faiz Shiong in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 37 in the game by Shafiq Hsi from a close distance when the talented Faiz Shiong managed to make a qualified save. Runcorn AFC's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Runcorn AFC's Dale Sim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Tian. That made the score 3-1 after 51 minutes of play. Gage Pillai hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Faiz Shiong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noh Ning in the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Muhammad Namasivayam dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Tian, 3-2. Lamar Butcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Faiz Shiong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Muhammad Namasivayam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Runcorn AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eltham the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anil Au in the 66th minute of play forced Runcorn AFC's goalkeeper Faiz Shiong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shafiq Hsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Merlin Lim charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Merlin Lim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 91 minutes into the match, Runcorn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Noh Ning came free, but Faiz Shiong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faiz Shiong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noh Ning in the 93rd minute of the match. Merlin Lim kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Muhammad Namasivayam was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. Anil Au was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Eltham supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Runcorn AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Runcorn AFC.
