Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Prime Chandran started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Prudhoe getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dale Pieng hit a great ball. A collision led to Binsted getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Prime Wenyong hit a great ball. Dale Pieng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dale Pieng struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Famih Hock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prudhoe. The supporters of Binsted booed when Prudhoe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prime Chandran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Khai Chien-Kwan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Cheng skillfully saved the ball. Noh Chandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Cheng having to interfere. A collision led to Binsted getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Prime Wenyong hit a great ball. Samuel Ching hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Prudhoe's Alex Seng managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Khai Chien-Kwan in the 24 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Binsted's zone, Prime Chandran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Famih Hock came out of the goal and Prime Chandran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Famih Hock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prime Chandran's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Prime Chandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Dale Pieng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prudhoe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dale Pieng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Binsted booed when Prudhoe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Siong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prime Chandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Famih Hock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute, Khai Chien-Kwan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Binsted's Famih Hock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Binsted from getting a goal against them. Dale Pieng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Famih Hock having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Prudhoe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prime Chandran to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Noh Chandran notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Prudhoe's John Cheng. John Cheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Dale Pieng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prime Chandran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Famih Hock having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Binsted's goal looked a bit too open when Prime Chandran came free, but Famih Hock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Prime Chandran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dale Pieng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Famih Hock having to interfere. When Noh Chandran fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Binsted's protests and gave Noh Chandran a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, Binsted was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noh Chandran to maneuver through the defense. Khai Chien-Kwan got a throw-in 85 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Noh Chandran. In the 86th minute, Prime Chandran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prudhoe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 89th match minute, Prudhoe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prime Chandran to maneuver through the defense. Prime Chandran took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Famih Hock. Famih Hock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match was over Prudhoe could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Binsted throughout the match.
