In the 16th minute, Eltham's Noh Ning ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dênis Alves. Dênis Alves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jonathan Tian came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Peranakan's Zak Chong. But to his dismay, Zak Chong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 25th minute of the match, Noh Ning tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dênis Alves saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Shafiq Hsi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dênis Alves having to make a save. Peranakan's Dênis Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Peranakan from getting a goal against them. Gara Teo's late challenge caught a Eltham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gara Teo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Peranakan's Gara Teo got a free kick in the 34th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dênis Alves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 57th minute Shafiq Hsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noh Ning's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dênis Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Steven Siong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peranakan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eltham the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Zak Henderson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Tian. That made the score 2-3 in the 72 minute of play. Jonathan Tian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zak Chong in the 76th minute. Jonathan Shyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Tian having to interfere. Jonathan Tian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Henderson in the 79th minute of play. Jonathan Tian was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zak Henderson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 80 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Peranakan's Rifki Dhanabalan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Noh Ning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dênis Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noh Ning, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Noh Ning took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dênis Alves. Dênis Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shafiq Hsi in the 96th minute of play forced Peranakan's goalkeeper Dênis Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
