Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aziz Tee started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wei Xuan Kang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gage Tian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chelmsford AFC's zone, Aziz Tee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Au came out of the goal and Aziz Tee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Harold Hill's Wei Xuan Kang got control of the ball when Amir Chandran tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Chelmsford AFC booed when Harold Hill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zack Mathews didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chelmsford AFC's Mark Au played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Tee in the 24th minute of play. Amir Chandran struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Wei Xuan Kang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelmsford AFC. Wei Xuan Kang made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Amir Chandran sent off a good shot on target. Mark Au showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Tee in the 31st minute of the match. Faiz Leng kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Chelmsford AFC's Wei Xuan Kang threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gage Tian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gage Tian in the 35th minute of play forced Harold Hill's goalkeeper Wei Xuan Kang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Chelmsford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Famih Swee. In the 41st minute, Khairil Chian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute of the match Aziz Tee sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Au skillfully saved the ball. Didi Ramachandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mark Au tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aziz Tee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Au having to make a save. Aziz Tee scored 0-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mark Au, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gage Tian to strike the kick off in the second half. Gage Tian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Wei Xuan Kang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amir Chandran in the 58th minute of play forced Harold Hill's goalkeeper Wei Xuan Kang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Au showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Tee, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 70th match minute, Chelmsford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Famih Swee to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes, Harold Hill's Jonathan Pillai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mark Au came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Harold Hill reached it. Mark Au made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aziz Tee in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Jerry Seng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Au showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Ramachandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Chelmsford AFC's Gage Tian pulled a muscle in his leg after 82 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Fariz Au fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harold Hill's protests and gave Fariz Au a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Harold Hill! In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Chelmsford AFC. Khairil Chian stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wei Xuan Kang. 1-2. Aziz Tee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mark Au tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aziz Tee came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Harold Hill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aziz Tee couldn't finish the play. If Aziz Tee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Au stood somewhat misplaced when Aziz Tee came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 99 minute. Harold Hill's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
