Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dale Sim took the kick off in the first half of the match. Darren Seng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Sim in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match, Merlin Lim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Darren Seng was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 6 minutes, Albert Choo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bovingdon and the Runcorn AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albert Choo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match, Dale Sim tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Darren Seng saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 16th minute Mark Seng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faiz Shiong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tan Tian in the 17th minute of play forced Runcorn AFC's goalkeeper Faiz Shiong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ron Peng during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bovingdon booed when Runcorn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Peng didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Runcorn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Seng came free, but Faiz Shiong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faiz Shiong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Darren Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Sim in the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Runcorn AFC booed when Bovingdon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Nagasaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Hongyi during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Aziz Singh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Runcorn AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Seng was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Dale Sim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bovingdon's Darren Seng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aziz Singh in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darren Seng saved Bovingdon from getting behind. After 56 minutes, Muhammad Namasivayam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Runcorn AFC and the Bovingdon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Runcorn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammad Namasivayam to maneuver through the defense. Darren Seng came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Runcorn AFC's Aziz Singh. But to his dismay, Aziz Singh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Mark Seng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Faiz Shiong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merlin Lim charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Merlin Lim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Merlin Lim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bovingdon's Alif Hock got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Seng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faiz Shiong having to interfere. Faiz Shiong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Sim in the 81st minute of play forced Bovingdon's goalkeeper Darren Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tan Tian hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Faiz Shiong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Seng in the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Seng in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faiz Shiong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faiz Shiong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Seng in the 93rd minute of the match. Darren Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Sim, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Runcorn AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
