Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Harold Hill's Aziz Tee started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anil Au was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Eltham:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Harold Hill:s goal. 8 minutes into the game, Zack Mathews threw the ball into play from the sideline. Eltham's Clive Lee quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Prime Chian's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Tian firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jonathan Tian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Tee, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Noh Ning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wei Xuan Kang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Harold Hill's zone, Lamar Butcher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wei Xuan Kang came out of the goal and Lamar Butcher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Tian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Tee in the 20th minute of the match. When Noh Ning, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 27 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Wei Xuan Kang was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Harold Hill's Didi Ramachandran got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Didi Ramachandran recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Tian. Didi Ramachandran showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Didi Ramachandran took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Tian. Jonathan Tian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Didi Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Tian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Tee, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to Harold Hill getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jonathan Pillai hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noh Ning made a kick off. Prime Chian took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Tian. Jonathan Tian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Tee in the 56th minute of play forced Eltham's goalkeeper Jonathan Tian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Tian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prime Chian in the 59th minute of the match. Jonathan Tian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prime Chian, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, Prime Chian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Tian. Eltham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prime Chian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Prime Chian put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Tian. 81 minutes into the match, Aziz Tee had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Tian. Eltham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aziz Tee was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Jonathan Tian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zack Mathews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Noh Ning came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Eltham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noh Ning couldn't finish the play. Eltham's Jonathan Tian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Tee in the 92nd minute of play.
