Noh Ning ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Noh Ning notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Runcorn AFC's Faiz Shiong. Faiz Shiong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the match, Runcorn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Shafiq Hsi came free, but Faiz Shiong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faiz Shiong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noh Ning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eltham's Shafiq Hsi got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noh Ning in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faiz Shiong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lamar Butcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Faiz Shiong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merlin Lim kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Clive Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faiz Shiong having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noh Ning to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Eltham's Noh Ning slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Faiz Shiong. That made the score 0-2 after 54 minutes of play. After 80 played minutes Runcorn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dale Sim. If Clive Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 87 minutes into the match, Lamar Butcher notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Runcorn AFC's Faiz Shiong. Faiz Shiong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Runcorn AFC's Aziz Singh got a free kick in the 97th minute. If Clive Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Clive Lee came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Eltham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clive Lee couldn't finish the play. Eltham played a much better game than Runcorn AFC and deserved their victory. The Runcorn AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
