Ali Swee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Namasivayam, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Afriz Hongyi charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afriz Hongyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gara Sum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thomson9ers's supporters rose to their feet, but Gara Sum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Swee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Namasivayam in the 22nd minute of play forced Dursley's goalkeeper Ali Swee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Dursley's goal looked a bit too open when Gara Sum came free, but Ali Swee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Alex Namasivayam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Swee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arif Seng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronn Chien-Kwan having to interfere. With a little luck, Thomson9ers's Ronn Chien-Kwan got control of the ball when Fariz Liang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ali Swee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gara Sum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes of play, Thomson9ers's Rifqi Laycock made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Swee was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronn Chien-Kwan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fariz Liang to make the kick off. A collision led to Thomson9ers getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Zak Hui hit a great ball. Fariz Liang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alex Namasivayam came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ali Swee could save by the left post. Fariz Liang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ronn Chien-Kwan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Thomson9ers got a freekick which was hit by Fariz Yang. When Dursley's Albert Chian in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thomson9ers's goalie prevented a goal. Dursley's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
