Thomson9ers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zak Hui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hucknall's Alam Lee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Hucknall from getting a goal against them. If Hamir Au had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Bineesh Hee notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hucknall's Alam Lee. Alam Lee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hucknall's Alam Lee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Hucknall from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute of the match, Gara Sum tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alam Lee saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alam Lee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gara Sum in the 21st minute of play. Alam Lee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gara Sum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thomson9ers's goalkeeper Ronn Chien-Kwan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Chuan in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronn Chien-Kwan saved Thomson9ers from getting behind. Zak Hui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Hucknall getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Daniz Dyce hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Haziq Seng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronn Chien-Kwan. Thomson9ers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haziq Seng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Bineesh Hee kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ronn Chien-Kwan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomson9ers's Ronn Chien-Kwan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haziq Seng in the 45th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Thomson9ers's goal looked a bit too open when Haziq Seng came free, but Ronn Chien-Kwan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haziq Seng made a kick off. Alam Lee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Namasivayam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gara Sum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thomson9ers's supporters rose to their feet, but Gara Sum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alam Lee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alam Lee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zak Hui, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to Thomson9ers getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Arif Yeo hit a great ball. Zak Hui kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ronn Chien-Kwan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haziq Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thomson9ers's goalkeeper Ronn Chien-Kwan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Laycock hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Haziq Seng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hucknall's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thomson9ers the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hucknall's Haziq Seng got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the Hucknall defense, Alex Namasivayam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alam Lee. The Hucknall fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alam Lee should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Thomson9ers booed when Hucknall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniz Dyce didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Thomson9ers getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Azam Hong hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haziq Seng in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronn Chien-Kwan saved Thomson9ers from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Bineesh Hee made a precise shot to the right of Alam Lee. Hucknall's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Ronn Chien-Kwan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haziq Seng in the 95th minute of the match. Thomson9ers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
