Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Faizal Soon kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Ashington's Amirul Teo got control of the ball when Felix Nair tried to sneak it across the goal line. North Baddesley's Mujahid Au played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faizal Soon in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Bryan Rajah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bryan Rajah took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mujahid Au. Mujahid Au dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in North Baddesley's zone, Bryan Rajah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mujahid Au came out of the goal and Bryan Rajah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the North Baddesley defense, Bryan Rajah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mujahid Au. The North Baddesley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mujahid Au should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Bryan Rajah made a precise shot to the right of Mujahid Au. North Baddesley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, North Baddesley's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Dyce came free, but Mujahid Au reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. North Baddesley's Mujahid Au played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Rajah in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Mark Dyce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mujahid Au saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ashington booed when North Baddesley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azly Chai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faizal Soon took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mujahid Au. In the 35th minute, Farhan Chee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mujahid Au was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Felix Nair charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Nair the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, North Baddesley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Henderson to maneuver through the defense. Ashington's Faizal Soon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for North Baddesley. Amirul Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Chian in the 73rd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Ashington's goal looked a bit too open when Shukrie Shiong came free, but Amirul Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Bryan Rajah dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mujahid Au, 1-7. 80 minutes into the match, Ashington's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Chian came free, but Amirul Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shukrie Shiong charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The North Baddesley fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ashington were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
