In the 31st minute of the match, Wu Ao Liang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alex Lim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 31stth minute of the game Wu Ao Liang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mangotsfield's Alex Lim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alex Lim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wu Ao Liang's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Mangotsfield's goalkeeper Alex Lim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 龚明宁. Alex Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Ao Liang in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Aziz Rajah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Alex Lim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute, Saltaire's Wu Ao Liang dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers 龚明宁 in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Lim saved Mangotsfield from getting behind. In the 67th minute of the match Bartosz Karanowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Lim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alex Lim came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Saltaire's Wu Ao Liang. But to his dismay, Wu Ao Liang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wu Ao Liang in the 71st minute of play forced Mangotsfield's goalkeeper Alex Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aziz Rajah took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Lim. Alex Lim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Alex Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azly Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Alex Lim didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Saltaire's 龚明宁 shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Adam Lum struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Karim Ghazi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mangotsfield. The Mangotsfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Lim should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Saltaire fully deserved thier win.
