Spectators: 8392 (Terracing: 6296, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 166) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Noh Lim took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes, Shahiran Tee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Binsted AFC and the Rothley players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Binsted AFC's Shahiran Tee got a free kick in the 4th minute. Mujahid Ching showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shahiran Tee in the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Rothley's goal looked a bit too open when Shahiran Tee came free, but Mujahid Ching reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bineesh Siang's late challenge caught a Rothley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bineesh Siang helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rothley booed when Binsted AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bineesh Siang didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Binsted AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Lam to maneuver through the defense. Sajeev Tan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mark Henderson. In the 18th match minute, Rothley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammad Abisheganaden to maneuver through the defense. Mujahid Ching stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shahiran Tee's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 30th match minute, Rothley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Seng to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rothley's zone, Shahiran Tee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mujahid Ching came out of the goal and Shahiran Tee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shahiran Tee in the 46th minute of play forced Rothley's goalkeeper Mujahid Ching to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shahiran Tee to strike the kick off in the second half. If Shahiran Tee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shahiran Tee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mujahid Ching having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shahiran Tee in the 67th minute of play forced Rothley's goalkeeper Mujahid Ching to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shahiran Tee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mujahid Ching having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Rothley:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Binsted AFC:s goal. The referee gave Binsted AFC a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Shahiran Tee, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rothley's Mujahid Ching. 0-2. Mujahid Ching showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shahiran Tee, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
