Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Asiz Sum cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mujahid Ching was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mujahid Ching was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Asiz Sum capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Asiz Sum really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Lee Sarangapani came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Wimborne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lee Sarangapani couldn't finish the play. Mujahid Ching made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Sum in the 29th minute of play. Mujahid Ching was a little too slow when Asiz Sum got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afiq Lum got free with Mujahid Ching in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faiz Yang hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Afiq Lums short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Mujahid Ching to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Asiz Sum kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mujahid Ching. That made the score 4-0 in the 40 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noh Lim was the one to do the kick off. The attack was good, but when Afiq Lum in the 51st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Asiz Sum took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mujahid Ching. Mujahid Ching dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 56 minutes into the game, Lee Sarangapani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wimborne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rothley the free kick. In the 58th minute, Noh Lim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mujahid Ching showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asiz Sum, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Mujahid Ching made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Sum in the 65th minute of play. If Asiz Sum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 played minutes Wimborne got a freekick which was hit by Afiq Lum. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Sum in the 77th minute of play forced Rothley's goalkeeper Mujahid Ching to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Lee Sarangapani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wimborne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lee Sarangapani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Asiz Sum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute, Asiz Sum made a precise shot to the right of Mujahid Ching. Rothley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Afiq Lum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 minutes, Faiz Yang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rothley and the Wimborne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Afiq Lum struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Mujahid Ching didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wimborne. Dale Hui hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
