An unexpectedly hard shot by Ang Lum in the 6th minute of play forced Binsted AFC's goalkeeper Sajeev Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bineesh Siang's late challenge caught a Mangotsfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bineesh Siang helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Binsted AFC's Bineesh Siang got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes of play Binsted AFC's Bineesh Siang was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Anil Braddell's late challenge caught a Mangotsfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anil Braddell helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mangotsfield booed when Binsted AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 31 played minutes Mangotsfield got a freekick which was hit by Shahron Dhanabalan. Sajeev Tan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azam Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Sajeev Tan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ang Lum in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Khairul Chai to strike the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Adam Lum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mangotsfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Binsted AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mangotsfield's Adam Lum got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 57th match minute, Mangotsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Soon to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ang Lum got free with Sajeev Tan in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sajeev Tan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ang Lum showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 76 minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Felix Braddell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 92nd minute Adam Lum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sajeev Tan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Mangotsfield left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Binsted AFC.
