A collision led to Mill Hill getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Danish Ramachandran hit a great ball. Sarb Siong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ron Amin having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mill Hill defense, Sarb Siong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ron Amin. The Mill Hill fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ron Amin should have stopped the shot. Merlin Hsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mill Hill's Wei Xuan Chian in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dover United's goalie prevented a goal. Alexander Siang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ron Amin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Siang's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. With 49 minutes on the clock, Khai Sim commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mill Hill fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! In the 51st minute there was a penalty for Dover United. Dale Yeo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ron Amin. 0-3. After the first half Dover United were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Famih Henderson was the one to do the kick off. When Dover United's Alexander Siang in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mill Hill's goalie prevented a goal. Ron Amin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Siang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ron Amin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Siang, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Dover United's Alexander Siang got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alexander Siang came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Dover United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Siang couldn't finish the play. Sarb Siong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dover United's Alexander Siang got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bakar Singh fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mill Hill's protests and gave Bakar Singh a yellow card for diving instead. Ron Amin made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Sarb Siong sent off a good shot on target. Ron Amin came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Dover United's Alexander Siang. But to his dismay, Alexander Siang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. With a little luck, Mill Hill's Ron Amin got control of the ball when Sarb Siong tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mill Hill's zone, Sarb Siong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ron Amin came out of the goal and Sarb Siong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alexander Siang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Alexander Siang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 101st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dover United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
