Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Adam Lum started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alex Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afiq Lum in the 6th minute of the match. Asiz Sum scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Lim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alam Hian's late challenge caught a Wimborne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alam Hian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Asiz Sum sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mangotsfield's Alex Lim didn't even have to move. Haziq Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mangotsfield's zone, Asiz Sum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Lim came out of the goal and Asiz Sum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wimborne's Faizal Lee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Lum in the 18th minute of play. Mangotsfield's Alex Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Sum in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Adam Lum lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Faizal Lee. Alex Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Sum in the 31st minute of play. Alex Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asiz Sum in the 35th minute of the match. Azam Tan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Faizal Lee when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 38th minute of the match, Ang Lum tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Faizal Lee saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Asiz Sum took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Lim. Alex Lim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 45 minutes into the match, Mangotsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Afiq Lum came free, but Alex Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Afiq Lum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Alex Lim made a huge save. Alex Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asiz Sum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azam Tan in the 61st minute of play forced Wimborne's goalkeeper Faizal Lee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asiz Sum, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Afiq Lum ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Lim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Asiz Sum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wimborne's supporters rose to their feet, but Asiz Sum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Lim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Asiz Sum kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Lim. That made the score 1-6 in the 68 minute of play. Mangotsfield's Alex Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Sum in the 71st minute of play. Alex Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asiz Sum, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Alex Lim made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Lee Sarangapani sent off a good shot on target. Faizal Lee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ang Lum in the 81st minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Lee Sarangapani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faizal Lee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Lum in the 82nd minute of play. Faizal Lee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Lum went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Sum in the 91st minute of play forced Mangotsfield's goalkeeper Alex Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lee Sarangapani got free with Alex Lim in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Mangotsfield fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wimborne were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
