Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Farhan Boon kicked off to start the match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Albert Seng sped through Partington's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of John Cho. Gara Siang struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Khairil Mathews didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Partington. Philippe Jensen took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khairil Mathews. Khairil Mathews dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Gara Siang took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Khairil Mathews to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Partington's Daniz Hoe got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Manor Park's Bakar Devan tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bakar Devan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Arnau charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Arnau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 53 minutes into the game, Daniz Hoe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Partington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manor Park the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Partington's zone, Faris Phua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Cho came out of the goal and Faris Phua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Philippe Jensen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Partington fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Ang Seng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Cho having to interfere. Gara Siang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Partington booed when Manor Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shafiq Singh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Arnau kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Bakar Devan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Cho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Philippe Jensen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Khairil Mathews was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Khairil Mathews made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farhan Boon in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Farhan Boon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khairil Mathews saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Cho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bakar Devan in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe Jensen in the 85th minute of play forced Manor Park's goalkeeper Khairil Mathews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farhan Boon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Philippe Jensen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Khairil Mathews was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. John Cho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bakar Devan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
