Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Asiz Sum took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wimborne's zone, Arif Dyce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faizal Lee came out of the goal and Arif Dyce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Wimborne getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jonathan Soon hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Wimborne's goalkeeper Faizal Lee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muhammad Politiek. In the 14th minute Afiq Lum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Ning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Poulton-Le-Fylde's Ron Ning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Sum in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Azly Hian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Ning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Poulton-Le-Fylde booed when Wimborne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asiz Sum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ron Ning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Sum in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Muhammad Politiek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poulton-Le-Fylde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muhammad Politiek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Azly Hian hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Muhammad Politiek fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Sarangapani in the 36th minute of play forced Poulton-Le-Fylde's goalkeeper Ron Ning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Afiq Lum notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Poulton-Le-Fylde's Ron Ning. Ron Ning was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Wimborne were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Muhammad Politiek to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Poulton-Le-Fylde got a freekick which was hit by Arif Dyce. The audience was convinced that Muhammad Politiek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faizal Lee was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the game, Wimborne's Lee Sarangapani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ron Ning made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 69th minute, Asiz Sum made a precise shot to the right of Ron Ning. Poulton-Le-Fylde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 78th minute Muhammad Politiek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faizal Lee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Azly Hian got free with Ron Ning in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Asiz Sum ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ron Ning was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Afiq Lum came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ron Ning could save by the left post. A collision led to Poulton-Le-Fylde getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Arif Dyce hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Afiq Lum ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ron Ning was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Wimborne's Afiq Lum came free and shot a quick shot against goal 92 minutes in the game, fortunately Ron Ning had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When the match was over Wimborne could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Poulton-Le-Fylde throughout the match.
