Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kentish Town's Ron Abdul started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ong Hsin fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kentish Town's protests and gave Ong Hsin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Partington booed when Kentish Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ong Hsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Farhan Boon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kentish Town's goalkeeper Samuel Chan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Samuel Chan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gara Siang's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Kentish Town's Samuel Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farhan Boon in the 15th minute of play. If Gara Siang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Kentish Town got a freekick which was hit by Prime Gopala Pillai. Samuel Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farhan Boon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Gara Siang notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kentish Town's Samuel Chan. Samuel Chan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Farhan Boon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gara Siang might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Chan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gara Siang ran back to his position shaking his head. Farhan Boon struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Samuel Chan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Partington. Gara Siang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Farhan Boon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Samuel Chan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Chan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gara Siang, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Farhan Boon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Chan having to interfere. After the first half Partington were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Farhan Boon to make the kick off. Gara Siang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Samuel Chan came out and tried to block the shot, but Gara Siang slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 52nd minute. Rodolfo Arnau hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The Kentish Town fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Kentish Town's Ron Abdul looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Philippe Jensen scored 1-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Chan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gara Siang came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Partington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gara Siang couldn't finish the play. Samuel Chan was a little too slow when Gara Siang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-4. Farhan Boon might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Chan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Farhan Boon ran back to his position shaking his head. Samuel Chan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gara Siang in the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kentish Town's Darren Laycock got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 81 played minutes, Partington's Zak Soon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samuel Chan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Partington reached it. Samuel Chan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gara Siang showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 86 minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Gara Siang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Partington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gara Siang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kentish Town's Samuel Chan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Kentish Town from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Farhan Boon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Partington's supporters rose to their feet, but Farhan Boon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Chan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Partington's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
