Seating: 1977, VIP seats: 182) Alexander Chong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amir Kang having to interfere. Zak Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zak Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexander Chong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Amir Kang made a huge save. Amir Kang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Chong in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Alif Pillai made a precise shot to the right of Ang Abisheganaden. Brey Lake's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Clive Seng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Danial Nair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brey Lake's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neaden the free kick. In the 41stth minute of the game Clive Seng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brey Lake's Ang Abisheganaden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Brey Lake's Amir Kang threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sean Tan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Neaden getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Asiz Lim hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Brey Lake's Ang Abisheganaden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Brey Lake from getting a goal against them. Mark Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Daniel Pieng fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neaden's protests and gave Daniel Pieng a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Lee Sim made a precise shot to the right of Amir Kang. Neaden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 68 minutes into the match, Neaden's goal looked a bit too open when Zak Peng came free, but Amir Kang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Pieng kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ang Abisheganaden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clive Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes into the game, Mark Lee was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neaden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brey Lake the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Neaden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Lee to maneuver through the defense. If Alif Pillai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clive Seng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alif Pillai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute John Au shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ang Abisheganaden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clive Seng might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ang Abisheganaden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clive Seng ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Neaden's Mark Lee got a free kick in the 95th minute. Amir Kang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Peng in the 98th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
