To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khairil Tees short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Felix Ning to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The long shot by Albert Yeo in the 34th minute really tested Felix Ning's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 37th minute, Buck City's Rifqi Koh ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felix Ning. Felix Ning yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Buck City's Khairil Tee got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khairil Tee in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felix Ning, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
