Azli Pieng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danial Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Lum having to interfere. After some careless play in the Waterfoot defense, Azli Pieng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haziq Siong. The Waterfoot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haziq Siong should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Azli Pieng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haziq Siong was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When Abbay Wood United's Azli Pieng in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waterfoot's goalie prevented a goal. When Azli Pieng came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Abbay Wood United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Azli Pieng couldn't finish the play. Azli Pieng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haziq Siong having to interfere. Abbay Wood United's Victor Lum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bakar Kang in the 35th minute of play. Azli Pieng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Haziq Siong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute of the match Jonathan Henderson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haziq Siong skillfully saved the ball. If Bakar Kang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Abbay Wood United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Azly Cho made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Abbay Wood United's Azly Cho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Haziq Siong. That made the score 0-3 after 51 minutes of play. In the 55th match minute, Abbay Wood United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hidayat Shiong to maneuver through the defense. Azli Pieng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61st play minutes Azly Cho shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Haziq Siong and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Azly Cho during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Abbay Wood United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azly Cho to maneuver through the defense. Haziq Siong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Azli Pieng in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azly Cho in the 67th minute of play forced Waterfoot's goalkeeper Haziq Siong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Lum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danial Lee went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Azly Cho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abbay Wood United's supporters rose to their feet, but Azly Cho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haziq Siong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haziq Siong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azly Cho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Rifki Paine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waterfoot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abbay Wood United the free kick. The supporters of Abbay Wood United booed when Waterfoot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rifki Paine didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes, Mohammad Tuan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waterfoot and the Abbay Wood United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Waterfoot got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Tuan. Haziq Siong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azly Cho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd match minute, Waterfoot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Tian to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Abbay Wood United's corner Fariz Hongyi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Haziq Siong quite easily take care of the ball. Abbay Wood United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
