Alexander Sim's late challenge caught a Heathrow Airport FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Sim helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Spang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Sim to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mark Ee during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Heathrow Airport FC booed when Spang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Ee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fariz Pillai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Arif Lim made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, Alexander Sim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dale Yeo. Heathrow Airport FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Sim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Dale Yeo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Sim went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute, Fariz Pillai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heathrow Airport FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The supporters of Heathrow Airport FC booed when Spang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Ning didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Hong in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Muhammad Sum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spang FC were winning 2-3.

The wind increased when Alexander Sim made the kick off in the second half. Spang FC's Arif Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ong Braddell in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Alexander Sim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spang FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Amirul Keng kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Amirul Keng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heathrow Airport FC and the Spang FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Heathrow Airport FC! If Danish Choy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dale Yeo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khai Nair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spang FC's Arif Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Hong in the 84th minute of play. In the 95th minute Bryan Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spang FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Heathrow Airport FC's much stronger midfield.
