Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stanway FC's Shukrie Pillai started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Danial Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anil Chuan having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Rifqi Pieng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danial Lee in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anil Chuan saved Stanway FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Stanway FC's Alan Ning got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Waterfoot's zone, Shukrie Pillai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haziq Siong came out of the goal and Shukrie Pillai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danial Sum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Haziq Siong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Shukrie Pillai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danial Sum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th match minute, Waterfoot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Tian to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Tan Seng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rifqi Pieng kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Stanway FC's Shukrie Pillai got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Danial Sum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anil Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danial Lee in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Shukrie Pillai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haziq Siong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shukrie Pillai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haziq Siong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shukrie Pillai's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Stanway FC's Shukrie Pillai got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bakar Kang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Shukrie Pillai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haziq Siong didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Stanway FC's Danial Sum shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Haziq Siong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danial Sum, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Stanway FC's Shukrie Pillai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haziq Siong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After having played for 77 minutes, Shukrie Pillai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stanway FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shukrie Pillai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haziq Siong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Sum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haziq Siong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danial Sum, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shukrie Pillai in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haziq Siong saved Waterfoot from getting behind. After having played for 87 minutes, Danial Sum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stanway FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danial Sum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Stanway FC's Anil Chuan got control of the ball when Danial Lee tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danial Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanway FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
