The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bakar Kang was the one to do the kick off. Ong Braddell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haziq Siong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Heathrow Airport FC were furious when Ali Tuan was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 58 minutes into the game, one of Heathrow Airport FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fariz Pillai might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haziq Siong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fariz Pillai ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, Khairil Vijiaratnam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Amirul Keng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haziq Siong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Fariz Pillai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heathrow Airport FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fariz Pillai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Heathrow Airport FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
