One of Dartsmouth United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AMED:s goal. The referee gave AMED a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Darren Chandran, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dartsmouth United's Zak Kang. 0-1. In the 7th match minute, AMED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azam Low to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Dartsmouth United's goal looked a bit too open when Afiq Shyan came free, but Zak Kang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hamir Hock fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dartsmouth United's protests and gave Hamir Hock a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Hamir Hock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Darren Chandran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Zak Kang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darren Chandran in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zak Kang saved Dartsmouth United from getting behind. Hamir Hock hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Darren Chandran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zak Kang was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Dartsmouth United's Danish Chew got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 minutes of play, AMED's Darren Chandran made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zak Kang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zak Kang came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by AMED's Darren Chandran. But to his dismay, Darren Chandran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 32 minutes into the match, Dartsmouth United's goal looked a bit too open when Ong Chong came free, but Zak Kang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Dartsmouth United defense, Darren Chandran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zak Kang. The Dartsmouth United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zak Kang should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Ong Chong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zak Kang. Dartsmouth United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ong Chong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Dartsmouth United's Zak Kang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ong Chong in the 42nd minute of play. Zak Kang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Chandran in the 43rd minute of play. When AMED's Afiq Shyan in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dartsmouth United's goalie prevented a goal. AMED's Ong Chong got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darren Chandran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zak Kang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Chandran in the 52nd minute of the match. Zak Kang was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Azam Pieng. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Darren Chandran sped through Dartsmouth United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zak Kang. 65 minutes into the match, Dartsmouth United's goalkeeper Zak Kang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afiq Shyan. Zak Kang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darren Chandran's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Dartsmouth United's Hamir Hock got a free kick in the 69th minute. AMED made a substitution. Gică Drumeș replaced Darren Chandran. In the 70th match minute, Dartsmouth United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamir Hock to maneuver through the defense. If Gică Drumeș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gică Drumeș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Zak Kang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gică Drumeș succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-11 in the 87th playminute. Gică Drumeș's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Zak Kang skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Nicholas Tioe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
