Spectators: 8630 (Terracing: 6460, Seating: 1990, VIP seats: 180) Nicholas Tioe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Spang FC defense, Nicholas Tioe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arif Lim. The Spang FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arif Lim should have stopped the shot. Arif Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Tioe in the 11th minute of the match. Zak Kang came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Spang FC's Alexander Sim. But to his dismay, Alexander Sim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 16 played minutes Dartsmouth United got a freekick which was hit by Danish Chew. A collision led to Dartsmouth United getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gage Hock hit a great ball. Spang FC's Arif Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Tioe in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Alexander Sim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zak Kang, 2-1. Zak Kang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Sim, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Sarb Namasivayam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spang FC's Arif Lim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dartsmouth United's Danish Chew got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Dartsmouth United booed when Spang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Sim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicholas Tioe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arif Lim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sarb Namasivayam went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Sarb Namasivayam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Alexander Sim made the kick off in the second half. Danish Choy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zak Kang having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Alexander Sim made a precise shot to the right of Zak Kang. Dartsmouth United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Spang FC's Arif Lim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Spang FC from getting a goal against them. In the 56th match minute, Spang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamir Pillai to maneuver through the defense. When Nicholas Tioe fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dartsmouth United's protests and gave Nicholas Tioe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Dartsmouth United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Tioe to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Sim might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zak Kang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Sim ran back to his position shaking his head. Sarb Namasivayam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Arif Lim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 70 minutes into the game, Sarb Namasivayam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Arif Lim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arif Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicholas Tioe, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute Nicholas Tioe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes, Alexander Sim made it 4-4 with a short kick to the right side. Dartsmouth United's Zak Kang tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicholas Tioe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danish Chew kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Spang FC had played much better football throughout.
