Spectators: 8483 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 183) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bakar Kang got the match started through his kick off. Waterfoot's Haziq Siong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afiz Phua in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shah Chian during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes Waterfoot got a freekick which was hit by Shah Chian. Geadling's Daniz Seng couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Waterfoot. If Haziq Ee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Danial Lee came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Waterfoot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danial Lee couldn't finish the play. After 21 played minutes Geadling got a freekick which was hit by Afiq Yeo. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Bakar Kang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waterfoot's supporters rose to their feet, but Bakar Kang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sarb Abdul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geadling's Sarb Abdul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bakar Kang in the 25th minute of play. Sarb Abdul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danial Lee in the 26th minute. Haziq Siong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haziq Ee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haziq Siong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haziq Ee, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Afiz Phua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haziq Siong having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Haziq Ee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geadling's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haziq Ee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afiz Phua in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haziq Siong saved Waterfoot from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Haziq Ee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 49 minutes into the game, Haziq Ee cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Haziq Siong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Haziq Ee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Haziq Siong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Faris Lee was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. In the 93rd minute, Faris Lee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danial Lee in the 97th minute of play forced Geadling's goalkeeper Sarb Abdul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniz Au during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 98 played minutes Geadling got a freekick which was hit by Daniz Au. In the 100th minute Danial Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarb Abdul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Geadling players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
