Bakar Kang took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zak Kang. Zak Kang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Haziq Siong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sarb Namasivayam went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Zak Kang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Lee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicholas Tioe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haziq Siong having to interfere. In the 35th minute Nicholas Tioe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haziq Siong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicholas Tioe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waterfoot's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Zak Kang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bakar Kang in the 58th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Dartsmouth United got a freekick which was hit by Tan Chew. 65 minutes into the match, Dartsmouth United's goal looked a bit too open when Bakar Kang came free, but Zak Kang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Sarb Namasivayam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haziq Siong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Dartsmouth United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Danial Lee fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Waterfoot's Bakar Kang, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Waterfoot. The audience was convinced that Nicholas Tioe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haziq Siong was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the game, Danial Lee cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Zak Kang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sarb Namasivayam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haziq Siong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danish Chew in the 84th minute of play forced Waterfoot's goalkeeper Haziq Siong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Waterfoot's goal looked a bit too open when Sarb Namasivayam came free, but Haziq Siong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dartsmouth United's zone, Danial Lee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zak Kang came out of the goal and Danial Lee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Dartsmouth United getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Nicholas Tioe hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Bakar Kang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Waterfoot walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
