Mindaugas Karalius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afiz Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Sidnei Maciel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sarb Abdul. The Geadling fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sarb Abdul should have stopped the shot. Sarb Abdul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Amir Au had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geadling's Sarb Abdul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Geadling from getting a goal against them. Placido Gines recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geadling's Sarb Abdul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Selatse in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Tampines Rovers Football's goal looked a bit too open when Daniz Au came free, but Mindaugas Karalius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Alejandro Selatse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tampines Rovers Football's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Selatse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sarb Abdul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sarb Abdul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amir Au in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Alejandro Selatse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Sarb Abdul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
