When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Danish Ning took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Amir Dyce to make any attempt to save it. Danish Ning struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Amir Dyce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geylang River Otters. After 39 minutes, Felix Hee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hexham United and the Geylang River Otters players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Hexham United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Hee to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danial Shiong made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Ronn Siang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amir Dyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Iordache in the 58th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Stelian Iordache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Amir Dyce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bogdan Vasilache hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Faris Hian was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ryan Tian. In the 79th minute, Hamir Teo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stelian Iordache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amir Dyce having to interfere. Stelian Iordache took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amir Dyce. Amir Dyce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Stelian Iordache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amir Dyce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Ronn Siang got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Danish Ning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amir Dyce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stelian Iordache's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Geylang River Otters were the better team. Geylang River Otters's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
