Spectators: 9257 (Terracing: 6944, Seating: 2129, VIP seats: 184) 8 minutes into the game, Sarb Wah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hexham United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mirfield United fc the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hexham United's Sarb Wah got a free kick in the 8th minute. A hard shot 9 in the game by Faiz Shyan from a close distance when the talented Amir Dyce managed to make a qualified save. Hexham United's players were relieved. When Shukrie Chandran came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mirfield United fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shukrie Chandran couldn't finish the play. Faiz Shyan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amir Dyce having to make a save. Faiz Shyan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Amir Dyce when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A well placed Faiz Shyan short distance shot in the 24th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 30th minute, Felix Hee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hexham United's Amir Dyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faiz Shyan in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hexham United's zone, Faiz Shyan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amir Dyce came out of the goal and Faiz Shyan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danial Shiong to make the kick off. If Faiz Shyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faiz Shyan scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amir Dyce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Faiz Shyan came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mirfield United fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faiz Shyan couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the game, Mirfield United fc's Faiz Shyan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amir Dyce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 73rd match minute, Mirfield United fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Paine to maneuver through the defense. Amir Dyce came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Mirfield United fc's Faiz Shyan. But to his dismay, Faiz Shyan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Felix Hee hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Faiz Shyan took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amir Dyce. Amir Dyce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Hamir Tian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hexham United booed when Mirfield United fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jithu Henderson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Mirfield United fc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
