Gerard Paine took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arif Lim. Arif Lim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Asiz Chian scored 0-5 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arif Lim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerard Paine took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arif Lim. Arif Lim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 58th minute, Asiz Chian made a precise shot to the right of Arif Lim. Spang FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. After a rather tough play, Spang FC's Khai Nair got a free kick in the 61st minute. AMED's Ong Sum was substituted for Hidayat Leng. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Afiq Shyan took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Arif Lim to make any attempt to save it. In the 73rd minute Ong Chong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Spang FC's goalkeeper Arif Lim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asiz Chian. With a little luck, Spang FC's Arif Lim got control of the ball when Afiq Shyan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Spang FC's Arif Lim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Spang FC from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, AMED's Ong Chong ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arif Lim. Arif Lim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. AMED's Merlin Braddell was substituted for Ong Chong. AMED's Merlin Braddell got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
