Geadling's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danish Ning was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 10th match minute, Geadling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniz Au to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danish Ning got free with Sarb Abdul in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alif Cho hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Afiz Phua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shahiran Dhanabalan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes, Shah Tan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geylang River Otters and the Geadling players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, one of Geylang River Otters:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Geylang River Otters. Danish Ning in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sarb Abdul, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 30th minute, Geylang River Otters's Danish Ning dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Geadling's Afiz Phua got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Danish Ning cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sarb Abdul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Stelian Iordache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 48 in the game by Danish Ning from a close distance when the talented Sarb Abdul managed to make a qualified save. Geadling's players were relieved. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sarb Abdul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stelian Iordache's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 58th minute, Stelian Iordache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geylang River Otters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When Geylang River Otters's Stelian Iordache in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Geadling's goalie prevented a goal. Danish Ning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sarb Abdul didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danish Ning went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Sarb Abdul came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Geylang River Otters's Danish Ning. But to his dismay, Danish Ning quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. The Geylang River Otters fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Geylang River Otters's Danish Ning looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Danish Ning scored 10-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sarb Abdul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 minutes of play, Geylang River Otters's Danish Ning made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sarb Abdul was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Stelian Iordache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Danish Ning put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sarb Abdul. Geylang River Otters's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
