Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alexander Sim might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amir Dyce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Sim ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute, Felix Hee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khai Nair hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Hexham United's Danial Shiong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arif Lim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Hexham United booed when Spang FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khai Nair didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Alexander Sim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amir Dyce was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 20 minutes into the game, Ronn Siang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arif Lim. Ronn Siang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Danial Shiong kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arif Lim. That made the score 2-1 in the 24 minute of play. Felix Hee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arif Lim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ronn Siang showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 37 minute of play. Arif Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronn Siang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd match minute, Hexham United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronn Siang to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the game, Ronn Siang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hexham United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spang FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hexham United's Ronn Siang got a free kick in the 45th minute. Alexander Sim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amir Dyce having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th match minute, Hexham United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danial Shiong to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 61 minutes, Alexander Sim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spang FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Sim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Spang FC's Arif Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danial Shiong in the 65th minute of play. Spang FC's Shahron Hoe was substituted for Jerry Hongyi. The supporters of Spang FC booed when Hexham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Hee didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Danial Shiong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Arif Lim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Danial Shiong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amir Dyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Sim, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Hexham United's Danial Shiong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arif Lim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After 96 played minutes Spang FC got a freekick which was hit by Shah Seng. In the 97th minute of the match Ryan Tian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arif Lim skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hexham United had won after a very even match.
