Rifki Soon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudiu Leahu having to make a save. Claudiu Leahu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rifki Soon in the 5th minute of the match. Wong Hongyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Faizal Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Yaptoon's zone, Ioan Agachi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faizal Lim came out of the goal and Ioan Agachi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudiu Leahu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gage Paine in the 15th minute of play. If Ioan Agachi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wong Hongyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faizal Lim having to interfere. Rifki Soon scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudiu Leahu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ioan Agachi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faizal Lim came out and tried to block the shot, but Ioan Agachi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 23rd minute. Ioan Agachi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Anil Siong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Faizal Lim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wong Hongyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yaptoon's goalkeeper Faizal Lim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Yaptoon's zone, Shahron Vijiaratnam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faizal Lim came out of the goal and Shahron Vijiaratnam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Yaptoon's goal looked a bit too open when Shahron Vijiaratnam came free, but Faizal Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faizal Lim was a little too slow when Wong Hongyi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anil Siong in the 48th minute of play forced Yaptoon's goalkeeper Faizal Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Rifki Soon made the kick off in the second half. Revengers's Ioan Agachi got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Yaptoon's zone, Wong Hongyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faizal Lim came out of the goal and Wong Hongyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Merlin Gopala Pillai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faizal Lim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Ioan Agachi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faizal Lim. Yaptoon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ioan Agachi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. If Wong Hongyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Ioan Agachi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Revengers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. In the 78th minute Anil Siong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faizal Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Ioan Agachi made a precise shot to the right of Faizal Lim. Yaptoon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. Faizal Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wong Hongyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Ioan Agachi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faizal Lim. Yaptoon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ioan Agachi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. Faizal Lim came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Revengers's Wong Hongyi. But to his dismay, Wong Hongyi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-1.
