Sajeev Ching received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Faizal Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haziq Hian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Firdauz Wenyong having to make a save. Daniel Chai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Firdauz Wenyong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Gerard Tan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. The supporters of Yaptoon booed when Warer City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Tan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Warer City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yaptoon were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sajeev Ching stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Merlin Tee during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Faizal Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sajeev Ching, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Haziq Hian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Firdauz Wenyong made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Sajeev Ching got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mohammad Wenyong's late challenge caught a Warer City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohammad Wenyong helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Warer City booed when Yaptoon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Wenyong didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gara Sum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Haziq Hian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gage Paine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yaptoon's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
