Shahron Dryburgh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniz Soon in the 28th minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Mohammad Pieng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Revengers's Shahron Dryburgh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Daniz Soon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merlin Gopala Pillai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonas Montrelle. Howden United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Shahron Dryburgh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Guillen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Montrelle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anil Siong in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anacleto Guillen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Revengers's Shahron Dryburgh got control of the ball when Mohammad Pieng tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute Wong Hongyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Montrelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Anacleto Guillen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Shahron Dryburgh. That made the score 1-3 in the 61 minute of play. When Mohammad Pieng came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Howden United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohammad Pieng couldn't finish the play. Daniz Soon might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shahron Dryburgh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniz Soon ran back to his position shaking his head. Howden United's Jonas Montrelle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wong Hongyi in the 71st minute of play. Shahron Dryburgh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ioan Agachi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Anacleto Guillen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 81 played minutes Howden United got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Tan. Shahron Dryburgh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Alam Yip fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Howden United's protests and gave Alam Yip a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Howden United got a freekick which was hit by Alam Yip. Howden United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
