Ang Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Yi-Sheng having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Azli Rajah in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alan Yi-Sheng saved Ken FC from getting behind. Gerard Dyce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ken FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Arif Hsi hit a great ball. Samuel Tan made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Arif Hsi sent off a good shot on target. Azli Rajah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alan Yi-Sheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Jonathan Sim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 52 played minutes Harolld Hill got a freekick which was hit by Afiz Chandran. Gerard Dyce got in the 53rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Samuel Tan handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Harolld Hill's Alan Yi-Sheng threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Azli Rajah, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ang Tans short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Alan Yi-Sheng to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathan Sim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Samuel Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Soon kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Harolld Hill's Azli Rajah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alan Yi-Sheng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Samuel Tan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Dyce in the 85th minute of the match. Harolld Hill's Samuel Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Sim in the 86th minute of play. Samuel Tan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Dyce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jonathan Sim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
