Wivenhoen Stadium

Seating: 1955, VIP seats: 180) Bineesh Yang made the kick off and thus started the match. Shahron Dryburgh made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Aziz Tian sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute Bineesh Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shahron Dryburgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danial Siang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahron Dryburgh having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ioan Agachi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Revengers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ioan Agachi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicholas Tee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, Alif Lee was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wivenhoen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Revengers the free kick. Alif Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Anil Siong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wong Hongyi in the 17th minute of play forced Wivenhoen's goalkeeper Nicholas Tee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muhammad Namasivayam charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muhammad Namasivayam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Muhammad Namasivayam hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Anil Siong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 played minutes Wivenhoen got a freekick which was hit by Asiz Politiek. After having played for 22 minutes, Wong Peng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revengers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wong Peng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute Bineesh Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shahron Dryburgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicholas Tee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anil Siong in the 27th minute of play. Danial Siang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Shahron Dryburgh came out and tried to block the shot, but Danial Siang slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. In the 34th minute, Amir Chong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Revengers's zone, Hamir Chian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shahron Dryburgh came out of the goal and Hamir Chian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bineesh Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Wivenhoen getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Danial Siang hit a great ball. Ioan Agachi took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicholas Tee. Nicholas Tee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Anil Siong scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicholas Tee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shahron Dryburgh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bineesh Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Wivenhoen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Revengers were winning 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wong Hongyi to make the kick off. Nicholas Tee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wong Hongyi in the 54th minute of play. Anil Siong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ioan Agachi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Nicholas Tee made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Revengers's goal looked a bit too open when Bineesh Yang came free, but Shahron Dryburgh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ioan Agachi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicholas Tee having to make a save. After 68 played minutes Wivenhoen got a freekick which was hit by Khai Shiong. Wong Hongyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nicholas Tee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ioan Agachi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Wivenhoen's Nicholas Tee got control of the ball when Anil Siong tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bineesh Yang in the 77th minute of play forced Revengers's goalkeeper Shahron Dryburgh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Ioan Agachi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicholas Tee was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shahron Vijiaratnam in the 84th minute of play forced Wivenhoen's goalkeeper Nicholas Tee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Wivenhoen booed when Revengers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Chuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dale Keng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shahron Dryburgh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bineesh Yang in the 93rd minute of the match. Anil Siong kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Revengers got a freekick which was hit by Anil Siong. When the match was over Revengers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wivenhoen throughout the match.
