Ipplepens Stadium

Seating: 2050, VIP seats: 183) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bineesh Yang kicked off to start the match. Bineesh Yang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Samuel Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aziz Tian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Samuel Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bineesh Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Bineesh Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Muhammad Lim in the 14th minute really tested Nicholas Tee's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 15 minutes, Alexander Hong mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ipplepens and the Wivenhoen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Ipplepens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Hong to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match Hamir Chian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Seng skillfully saved the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Ipplepens's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Tian came free, but Samuel Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Ipplepens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afiz Tioe to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Ipplepens's goal looked a bit too open when Bineesh Yang came free, but Samuel Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faris Chew scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicholas Tee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aziz Tian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Seng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aziz Tian's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Samuel Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bineesh Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Wivenhoen booed when Ipplepens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Aziz Tian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wivenhoen's supporters rose to their feet, but Aziz Tian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Seng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Nicholas Tee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tan Vijiaratnam in the 53rd minute of play. Aziz Tian in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samuel Seng, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aziz Tian got free with Samuel Seng in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Aziz Tian could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Samuel Seng however easily saved by the left post. If Bineesh Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Asiz Politiek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Danial Siang notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ipplepens's Samuel Seng. Samuel Seng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bineesh Yang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Samuel Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aziz Tian who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Samuel Seng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Danial Siang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Samuel Seng made a huge save. Samuel Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bineesh Yang in the 86th minute of the match. If Bineesh Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Wivenhoen's Aziz Tian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Seng. Samuel Seng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After 92 played minutes Wivenhoen got a freekick which was hit by Danial Siang. Faris Chew struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Nicholas Tee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipplepens. Tan Vijiaratnam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nicholas Tee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Wivenhoen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ipplepens.
