Wong Dyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rifki Soon in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4thth minute of the game Haziq Hian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ken FC's Wong Dyce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wong Dyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rifki Soon in the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ken FC's Jonathan Sim got a free kick in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Hsi during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Yaptoon got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Hsi. In the 23rd minute Gerard Dyce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faizal Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Yaptoon getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Merlin Tee hit a great ball. Gage Paine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Wong Dyce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wong Dyce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rifki Soon's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. When Haziq Hian came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Yaptoon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haziq Hian couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Gerard Dyce made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ken FC's Wong Dyce got control of the ball when Haziq Hian tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Haziq Hian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaptoon's supporters rose to their feet, but Haziq Hian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wong Dyce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arif Hsi during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ken FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Arif Hsi hit a great ball. Wong Dyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rifki Soon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65thth minute of the game Felix Chuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yaptoon's Faizal Lim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Haziq Hian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerard Dyce struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Faizal Lim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ken FC. A collision led to Yaptoon getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Merlin Tee hit a great ball. Felix Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Haziq Hian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Farhan Politiek's late challenge caught a Yaptoon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Farhan Politiek helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Ken FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farhan Politiek to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th match minute, Yaptoon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bakar Laycock to maneuver through the defense. When Rifki Soon came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Yaptoon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rifki Soon couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Yaptoon's Rifki Soon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wong Dyce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rifki Soon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wong Dyce having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Yaptoon's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Dyce came free, but Faizal Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite being the better team, Yaptoon failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
